Cloning RP5 from SD Card to SSD

  • First clone the fork of rpi-clone (works with NVME SSD): https://github.com/geerlingguy/rpi-clone or simply run curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/geerlingguy/rpi-clone/master/install | sudo bash for automatic install.
  • Next just run the following: sudo rpi-clone <name of drive>, name of drive can be acquired using the command lsblk, in my case it was nvme0n1, therefore, the command becomes: sudo rpi-clone nvme0n1
  • Say yes to all prompts, then voila!
